The advent of social media alone brings new challenges to parents. A bad parent is a bad parent no matter what generation you are referring to. It is just a more complex situation than just blaming it on the parents. I would say it is certainly harder to be a parent today than it was 20, 10 or even 5 years ago. There are so many more people influencing your children now a days that one has to wonder how much influence has been taken from the parents and given to the people around the child...
